Eye-Fi has announced new Facebook support for its memory cards used in Wi-Fi digital cameras. Uploading of photo and video content will be enabled without needing a PC. Users can also alert their contacts on the social networking site when they upload photos to more than 25 sharing sites already supported by the memory cards. The Eye-Fi SD memory cards have different functions, but all cards support Wi-Fi with free access in Wayport hotspots included. The Geo models support geotagging, while the Pro models support RAW images for DSLR with SDHC card slots owners.

The Eye-Fi SD memory cards range from a price of $49 to a $149 value. The entry-level card is available in a 2GB version, while the other three models have 4GB.
