It seems that Apple has been seeking for media producers in Australia for the upcoming tablet. Inevitably, Apple had to provide some technical data to these producers. According to some leaking information, the tablet is as larger as the iPhone but is designed for the web, movies and e-books. Some other rumors reveal that some print media publishers were contacted in order to bring text content to iTunes, so preparing for the tablet. This one is supposed to have a 10.6-inch screen which would better fit books and magazines.

Apple is also working with major music studios in order to develop a new album format for iTunes that will include liner notes, music videos, mobile ring tones and artwork in a single software package meant to boost sales of albums, instead of single tracks.

If an Apple Tablet is in the works, it’s believed to be built by Foxconn that will ship up to 400,000 devices by April 2010. Although this information is not verified, it’s likely that the mysterious device would be shipped before Apple’s annual iPhone update in mid next year.
