LG launched in Korea the XNote R590 series notebooks based on Core i7 quad-core processor. Two models will be released, the R590-XR82K and R590-XR7WK, both coming with a NVIDIA GeForce GT230M graphics chipset with 1GB DDR3 memory. The first model is sporting a 1.73GHz Intel Core i7-820QM processor, while the second one is based on a 1.6GHz version of the same processor.
The R590-XR82K has 4GB or RAM and a 500GB hard drive and the R590-XR7WK comes with 2GB of memory and a smaller 320GB hard drive. They both have the same 15.6-inch 1600×900 LED-backlight LD display, support for Wi-Fi 802.11a/g/n and Windows 7 Home Premium as operating system.
LG regularly ships these notebooks outside of the United States, but hardware configurations and prices might change. The price of the R590-XR82K is $2,104, while the R590-XR7WK version costs $1,683. The base model is scheduled for November, but the fastest version is already available in Korea.
