Dell’s SX2210T display was recently presented as Dell’s first dedicated multi-touch display. It supports one- or two-finger input and is designed for operating systems like Windows 7, which recognize this kind of input. The 21.5-inch, full HD LCD display is a high quality one, taking into consideration that it is a TN-based panel, with 50,000:1 contrast ratio, a 2-milisecond response time and 83 percent color gamut.
The screen resolution is 1080-pixel. It has DVI or VGA video input, a two-megapixel webcam and dual microphones. Touch and webcam signals are transmitted to the attached computer through a four-port USB hub. Facial recognition is possible in Windows Vista only.
The SX2210T can be bought in the United States at a price of $469.
