The Sidekick users affected by permanent data loss were invited by T-Mobile to bear for a little time as Microsoft/Danger teams of specialists are working hard to try to recover their lost information.
Significant progress has been made, according to the company, in restoring all services for the Sidekick customers and Microsoft/Danger specialists continue to work around-the-clock to ensure that stability is maintained.
There is also an offer of sending a $100 customer appreciation card to all those that have experienced significant and permanent loss of personal content. This is adding to a free month of data service. The card can be used to buy T-Mobile products and services or to pay a T-Mobile bill.
T-Mobile’s forum remains open for all the users and tips and suggestions on rebuilding the content on users’ devices will be published on a regular basis. Latest updates and FAQs regarding the service disruption will also be regularly renewed on the site.
WHEN am I going to get my four years worth of Address Book Contacts, Notes and Appointments back? When? ?
I completely agree. Those were phone numbers, emails, and addresses of friends, acquaintances, and clients that I will never get back. $25 for a month of data and even $100 won´t replace that.
When am I gonna get my contacts and my ringtones back..?this loss of data if real b.s.
When will I get my bookmarks back and when will the email work properly? Cause my email has been getting to me two or three days later or resending old emails. I need this system….it is my life for work and school….please I need this!
ok well my fone didn’t return my contacts I had to restore mine and I don’t even remember which ones I lost. and my fone has been cutting off, like when I was looking at my pics my fone froze and there was a big red X on my fone what does that mean and I can’t even watch youtube videos on my fone but my sister can watch videos on her fone. I surely do hope that they give me my $100 because I might leave tmobile but who knows.
