Recently announced by LG, the LG HB954SP Blu-ray home cinema system is a full high definition 1080 pixels video and 5.1 surround sound audio system, with 1,000 total watts of power, a quintet of oval satellite speakers and a powerful subwoofer improving balanced & strong bass sound, everything packed into a compact, blue-tinged box.

You’ll also find a pair of HDMI inputs, an iDock function to charge and control your iPod or iPhone right from the BD deck.

The system is also provided with touch sensitive controls and a USB port for playback by loading up external media and an optical audio input.

Acoustics are engineered by Sir Mark Levinson, the international authority of high-end audio, and this is a guarantee for perfect sound quality.

Seven different preloaded audio tweaking profiles, present in the LG Sound Gallery, allow families living in average homes to benefit from full quality sound and even prevent sleeping children from awaking by using a profile that shuts off the subwoofer.

Docking and charging your iPhone or iPod, makes you able to play your music collection through the home cinema system.

Only one click allows you to access, through an ethernet connection, the world’s favourite contents sharing site, YouTube, bringing you to more than 2.5 billion videos online from the comfort of your home.

BD Live, another feature of the system, lets you have access to content and downloadable features from filmmakers’ websites.

Even if pricing for the new system is not yet announced, HB954SP Blu-ray HCS will apparently land at retailers in November this year.
