Samsung’s Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone will soon be part of its Armani-themed fashion line. The device has a bronze-trimmed theme destined to tempt both executives and other more style conscious users, but it’s also one of the company’s more functionally advanced devices.
Based on a 3.5-inch AMOLED display more appealing than LCDs and with a sliding QWERTY design, the new Armani phone will certainly please its fans. A micro SDHC slot will significantly increase the memory of only 8 GB.
Microsoft OS will not be the only operating system Samsung will rely on and Omnia TouchWiz II
Although not a word about Wi-Fi has been heard, 3G is presumed together with GPS.
The Armani phones released to date haven’t supported North American 3G bands and haven’t been sold through normal channels in the United States. In Europe, the Armani touchscreen model will cost about 700 Euros ($1,031).
