This week, Monster Cable upgraded its non-Beats in-ear headphone by adding the Turbine Pro. The new pair has “reference” level audio, though specifications have not been given yet.
It is endowed with a new custom-designed ear tip that should provide better insulation from the outside world than the previous design.
The buds come in copper- or rose gold-colored versions. A standard version of the Turbine Pro set meant for listening only ships for $300, but there is alsoa $330 edition with an in-line mic and remote combo to support phone calls on iPhones and control for these as well as newer iPods.
