Asus Eee PC 1201N, a Netbook Endowed with Nvidia Ion Graphics

The netbook market changes at a fast pace as all the high-tech markets do. Even if first gadgets of this type lacked in thrilling features and had very small keyboards. However, things changed since then and we are offered new versions of netbooks which many people and even manufacturer confuse with ultraportable notebooks. One such example is the Asus Eee PC 1201N. Let`s see what are the features of a netbook and especially those of Asus` Eee PC 1201N.

Netbooks incorporate displays of less than ten inches in size. However, Asus` new gadget is endowed with a backlit LED screen of twelve inches and a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. This means that the Eee PC 1201N device comprises a 16:9 wide aspect ratio that is the most used specific for a huge number of multimedia laptops nowadays. This netbook is awaited to be released on the Asus website. However, images of the gadget can be retrieved from the website of a Chine Internet retailer. A core capability of the Eee PC 1201N is the fact that it comprises a NVIDIA Ion graphics chipset. This feature enables customers the edit their videos and photographs and also play certain games.

Asus` new netbook incorporates Intel Atom N270, a SATA hard drive of 250 gigabytes, a multi-reader card, a camera of 1.3 megapixels, battery which supports up to eleven hours of functioning, and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It also seems that the manufacturer wish to endow the netbook with Windows 7 which means a delay in its launching until next month. Furthermore, Chinese vendors set the purchasing price for Asus Eee PC 1201N at 3504 Yuan which in American dollars means $513.
