MSI recently imported the U110 Eco netbook and thus, expanded its United States product line. This imported netbook represents the single device of its kind which comprises Intel`s Z-500 series Atom chips and 1.6 gigahertz device which enables the gadget to increase its runtime with almost fifteen hours thanks to its nine-cell battery pack, even though it is a standard one. Past announcements made regarding the new U110 Eco were not according to the real model. The American variant of the gadget comes with the GMA 500 graphics intrinsic to the Z500 series. Furthermore, the new U110 Eco netbook incorporates a screen of 10 inches, one gigabyte of RAM, a hard drive of 160 gigabytes, 802.11n Wi-Fi for connectivity and a web cam. MSI stated that there are two versions of this netbook from the operating system point of view. The U110 Eco is going to be distributed either comprising the Windows XP Home edition of the operating system or the Vista Home Basic one.

For those who are interested in purchasing the netbook, they should be aware that the purchasing price for the U110 Eco in a single configuration is of $430, but it seems that NewEgg will commercialize it at $400 per device.
