Sunday was the day on which Amazon Company released information regarding the launching of a new personal brand of products entitled AmazonBasics. This bundle of products includes AV cabled and blank DVD media supports, but as the organization states it seems that the AmazonBasics lineup will increase in no time with generally needed electronics that have a seemingly fair purchase price. No official statement has been made regarding the upcoming Amazon products, but the organization is a customer-focused one and is prone to study the feedback received from its clients in order to design its new offer.
The acquisition prices for the AmazonBasics product line vary from a cheap USB extension cable that costs $3.41 to a more expensive cable model, a HDMI one which can be purchased for the price of $40.18. A 50-pieces pack of blank dual-layer DVDs can be bought for $35.05, while a 100-pieces bundle of single-layer DVDs costs $19.66. For the acquisition price of $20.48 one can buy a pack of 100 CDs. Moreover, all these products will arrive to the customer in an easy to open package designed by Amazon`s employees.
AmazonBasics represents the first lineup developed by Amazon apart from the Kindle e-books. This may mean that the organization is going to commercialize self-branded products rather than being an intermediary between customers and other manufacturing companies. Good for you, Amazon!
