Last Thursday a source involved in the 4G World exposition stated that American Telephone and Telegraph promised to launch its new 3G MicroCell sometime around next week. Even though it seems that the 3G femtocells gadgets have always been delayed on the market, sources claim that various United States cities will host the 3G MicroCell on their gadget markets. These cities may be Atlanta, San Antonio, Seattle and one or more cities in North Carolina. Unstrung magazine stated that an employee from American Telephone and Telegraph already put various posts on Twitter, posts which support the shipments at least in Georgia, meaning Atlanta and in North Carolina.
For those who do not know it, the new 3G femtocells devices are created by CISCO. They bring utility to their users by creating a short-range mobile link which makes use of the customer connection to the Internet and enables users to send data and make calls. The innovative MicroCell has as core competitive advantage the fact that it supports, as its name states, 3G calls and provides support for the phone models that are not endowed with Wi-Fi. The purchasing price for this useful gadget is not known yet, but past experience has shown that these 3G gadgets comprise the purchasing price and a small fee for subscription which enables buyers to enjoy a longer calling time when they use the 3G MicroCell.
Network communication companies, Sprint and Verizon have made up their minds regarding these devices. American Telephone and Telegraph represents a very important business unit because its network comprises a huge number of loaded data due to the iPhone connection in big cities such as New York City and San Francisco. The nodes created are prone to reduce the burden of too many loads on the main cell towers in many cities. Network communication files state that iPhone support should be created for the new 3G MicroCell as a connection choice.
