T-Mobile decreased the purchasing price of its G1 smartphone to $130 bought with a two-year contract. Even though this price drop is only of $20, the G1 being worth previously $150, this action may be an indicator that the organization is on the verge of selling all its inventory merchandise before launching the new Motorola Cliq smartphone.
Rumors based on a T-Mobile leaked plan state that the launching of Motorola Cliq will be somewhere in October. This innovative smartphone could be upgraded with the new Android 1.6 operating system when it will be distributed. This speculation is based on the fact that both the smartphone and the operating system will be completed pretty much at the same time interval. For those whom want to know more, Motorola`s Cliq may be the first of the company`s smartphone endowed with an Android operating system. Moreover, the new mobile phone will come with a 480×360 “finger friendly” display which measures 3.1-inches on the diagonal. The new Motorola gadget will also comprise a camera of 5 megapixels and regarding connectivity it will feature GPS and Wi-Fi.
