Archos presented today one new gadget to tease its customers` desires and imagination. The Archos 5 Internet Tablet represents a voice controlled portable media player. Interested in this new piece of information? Then read what the new media player has to offer!

Even though Archos stated that it will launch an Android portable media player which incorporated a system for making calls, the innovative Archos 5 Internet Tablet includes a mike which only operates on Wi-Fi. Thus, the customer can make just VoIP calls. However, the brainy developers from Paris have been struggling to bring to light a successor for the new Archos Phone Tablet which supports making calls over HSDPA.

Even if these rumors came to light, Archos Company has not stated anything about this. The organization also did not mention a release date for the successor of Archos 5 Internet Tablet. The only information disclosed by the company was related to some of the features of the new model. The product will come with a thinner 4.3-inch “finger-friendly” screen, a higher resolution of 854×480, HSDPA connectivity, 1GHz Arm processor, all of these being comprised by a slim 10mm casing. This new portable media player will be a little bit bigger that Toshiba TG01 and will use Android, not Windows Mobile.

For those interested in this new device, the hope remains that Archos will disclose new information about it or it will allow the “leaks” of news.
