Belkin`s New Home Base Hub

OnTuesday, Belkin launched the Home Base networking hub which supports other variants of Wi-Fi b/g/n gadgets. This gadget enables customers to share their external devices, peripherals, by making use of their own wireless networks. Peripherals comprise magnetic disks units, printers, various USB devices and external hard drives. By using the storage ability of an USB hard drive linked to it, the Home Base device enables its users to back up the files and folders of one`s computer on the USB unit.

In addition, Belkin`s Home Base eases the transfer and sharing of files or directories deposited on magnetic supports or flash devices with other gadgets such as games consoles like Xbox 360 from Microsoft’s and Play-Station 3 from Sony. Using Home Base, one can upload automatically pictures or videos on websites such as Flickr or Picasa. Regarding the security of the data comprised by Belkin`s new product, WPS security enables the creation of an almost automatic coded connection.

The new Home Base is now available at the purchasing price of $130.
