During the event that took place this afternoon, Bose introduced an update to its SoundDock line by launching a brand new high-tech design. The model is entitled SoundDock 10 and differentiates itself from previous products through a specifically designed subwoofer that imitates the lower edge of prior models and has two big transducers that comprises technology similar to that in the Wave radio in order to emit mid-range and upper-range frequencies.
A brand new endowment for the innovative model is that SoundDock 10 is fully interchangeable due to the fact that this gadget not only fits various variants of iPods and iPhones and can accommodate a Bluetooth receiver for wireless stereo. This feature is optional and costs $150. Manufacturers hope this is the milestone in upgrading this new model with the technology able to support any non-Apple players in the future.
To assure that there is no interference between the system and devices which may perturb the quality of the music, SoundDock 10 comes with an integrated GSM. Bose Company hopes that SoundDock 10 will enter the market and be available in stores starting with the 21st, this month. The purchasing price for the new model is thought to be around $600.
