The thing is as follows: now we have Windows Mobile 6.5 which is supposed to be an improvement of the earlier OS’s, launching on October 1, 2009. Then, in February 2010, it will go through an “update” process to support touch interfaces. OK. Then, Windows Mobile 7 is about to be released; well, in late 2010, to be precise.
The question is: will the two OS’s share the same market – as in competitors?
You mean, WM 7 is not the newer, richer, more stable version of WM 6.5 which it supposedly should replace?
And spare me the story about Windows Mobile 6.5 competing against Google Android and Windows Mobile 7 against iPhone! They all compete with each other!
I concur. Finally someone is speaking out against all the stupidity out there being touted by infantile tech watchers as “news”.
