Dedicated iPhone App Released by Air Canada

People frequently flying Air Canada now have a tool for their own, a dedicated iPhone to keep track of flights, booking status and even to serve as an electronic boarding pass.
It is not as comprehensive as other travel apps (it works only with Air Canada), but it comes really handy.

You can read important messages, book a rental car, check other travel-related details, find your desired flight and get a boarding pass directly to your phone. Yes, a 2D barcode image sent to you can be scanned at the check-in desk just like an ordinary paper ticket.

And this Air Canada iPhone is not all, they are working on a dedicated BlackBerry, as well.
