Sony Ericsson’s XPERIA X1 has now a successor.
According to the rumors on the market, XPERIA X2 will be a significant upgrade of the former: Windows Mobile 6.5, updated QWERTY keyboard, 8.1MP (!!) autofocus camera, WVGA OLED touchscreen, aGPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and an accelerometer.
This is all just hearsay for the time being; more details at the press event Sony Ericsson will hold sometime in late August or early September to officially announce the phone’s release date and price (hopefully not $1,000, like the XPERIA X1 last year).
