The SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 camcoders are quite diffrent from the most interesting of the new generation of Samsung camcoder, the HMX-U10.

The two devices mentioned come with a capturing resolution at 720*480 and HD upscaling to the HDTV via HDMI. Both camcoders can boast a 65x optical zoom and the Optical Image Stabilizer stops at some point the image shaking. The big diffrence between the two is the memory options- the K40 requires an aditional SD or SDHC card, while the K45 comes equipped with a 32 GB SSD. The Samsung recording cameras can support USB charging and upload to Youtube function, and they’ll be available in August for $329.99 and $499.99, respectively.
