In the past few years, USB flash drives came in all flavors and colors. Plastic is the most commonly used material, but rubber casing or water resistant materials are not uncommon.
The new LaCie iamaKey USB 2.0 flash drive brings an air of freshness to the market. While perfectly resembling a key, it’s made out of metal and it even has a hole that enables you to attach it to your keychain. Being similarly sized, it mingles perfectly with your actual keys. Wearing the cap becomes optional, as it’s gold SIP connector is scratch and water resistant.
The iamaKey lives up to it’s name, as it can be worn as an actual key, but behaves like a top-knotch flash drive – 30MB/sec read speed and up to 10MB/sec write speed. Being a successor to the larger and less ergonomic itsaKey, the iamaKey comes in two variations – the 4GB $19.99 and the 8GB $29.99 flash drives.
