Sony has recently launched a registration page for development of Google TV. The page is meant to give support for developers who write Android-based applications for the Bravia GT1, which is a dedicated set-top box, and equally for other TV sets. There are not many details available for what this program entails, but it would probably optimize applications to be able to work with the feature sets and sizes of the range.
The Bravia GT1 is expected to be available in sizes going from 24 to 26 inches and to use an Intel CE series chip in order to drive the new TV operating system of Google. Wi-Fi is believed to be used through a USB adapter. More information is expected soon.
