According to a Twitter post, the French wireless provider Orange, is currently working on launching a new Android-powered tablet, which will also benefit from a 3G data connection. Orange’s device will most probably be priced at the equivalent of $318 if purchased without a data plan, or almost $127 if on contract. Even if who will build it is still unknown, the new tablet would most likely be a high-end rival to Apple’s iPad. In the meantime, Orange is negotiating with Apple to start offering the iPad in stores. Back in 2009, Orange has released a self-branded Wi-Fi tablet, which also had access to Internet widgets – the Tabbee.
