Amazon has again something prepared for the iOS device users; it has recently revealed its Kindle Previewer for HTML5. The new code allows users of iPads, iPhones, Android handsets, as well as other devices which have HTML5-capable web browser to view different samples of books, with no need of installing any native application. Previewer seems to preserve the book’s layout and will also let users buy books to sync with Kindle applications across platforms. Even if the device doesn’t yet have a fixed release date, it is expected to come out in the next few weeks.
Jeff Bezos, Amazon’s founder, has mentioned in the past that he doesn’t see other platforms as threats; he also encouraged the spread of the Kindle store and books to as many gadgets as possible. This includes the iPad, Android-powered handsets and computers.
