According to a recent brief tease, Samsung Acclaim has been detailed by US Cellular, as the company’s first Android-powered phone. This is a QWERTY slider which aims at the mainstream; it benefits from a 480×320 display, as well as from a three-megapixel camera. It comes with the 2.1 version of Android; unlike at other carriers, the phone has the tethering option for an extra $15 fee on top of the standard data plan.
The Samsung Acclaim will be priced at $100 if on contract; early buyers also get a $20 gift card as a bonus, which can be used to buy applications from the Android Market. Shipping is expected to start on July 9, while other phones, such as the HTC Desire, will most probably be available in the near future.

The tethering option is $25.
Having problems with the contacts only when I get a call in do I see my contect info and contact but my contacts don’t show up on the screen for me to be able to get my contact numbers to call anyone out.
