Microsoft has recently announced that the Bing portal has gone through an upgrade process, having some new features, which are focused on entertainment content. In what music-related searches are concerned, users can have access to lyrics, band photos, videos and even tour dates for their favorite artists. Links from Zune, iTunes and Amazon.com MP3 will also be provided by search results.
A new gaming searches layout is also offered by Bing; detailed information seems to be available for more than 35,000 titles. Structured content includes cheats, reviews and also walkthroughs for multiple games. Nearly 100 free casual games can be played, without leaving the Bing portal (for example, Bejeweled).
Full-length episodes are included in the TV content, alongside HD video and guide information, which helps catch shows on actual TVs. Bing provides movie information, including theatres and showtimes, parking places, traffic updates and even reviews.
Nearly all of the improved content is already available at Bing.com; TV listings make an exception, but will be added in the next few weeks.
