On June 21, 2010, Verizon posted a Droid X teaser video, just before the unveiling of the device, which will take place two days later. Even if the clip doesn’t offer too many details on the Droid X, it confirms a TV ad leak, but also that the information rumored on the phone is mostly accurate. The Droid X will most certainly benefit from a 1GHz processor, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-megapixel camera with 720p video capture; the phone will also come with a new, low-key version of Android 2.1, a variant on Motoblur.

Android’s new flagship could be launched alongside the Droid 2 at the special event on June 23. Despite this, it is most likely that the phone will not ship until July 19, according to previous rumors. The Droid X, as well as the Droid 2 may get Android 2.2 at their ship date or as an over-the-air update in the near future.
