Google has recently especially improved its Gmail page for iPad and tablet owners. Writing messages is now much easier – the composer just pops up in a centered and less distracted overlay on screen, working smoothly in both portrait and landscape. Through long messages, the view also has the ability of improving scrolling.
The update is currently limited to the iPad and US English, checking for the Safari browser of the device and also for the Google account preferences just before the sign-in. More languages are to become available soon. Moreover, the HTML5-based framework is expected to support even more tablets in the near future.
