A lower-cost camera was brought by Samsung as an alternative to its NX10. The NX5 camera is equipped with the same 14.6-megapixel sensor, controls and interchangeable lenses as its predecessor, but has a lower price thanks to its displays. The AMOLED screen of the NX10 is now replaced with a regular LCD, while the electronic viewfinder has a lower resolution.
The NX5 camera has been detailed so far only for Europe and should have a price of 699 euros, which is the equivalent of about $859. It is uncertain whether international launches will be available or not. While the Samsung NX10 is shipped in the United States, the NX5 will not necessarily follow it.
