Founders of Kazaa have launched Rdio, which is their first service of fully legal music. Pre-track streaming will be available on the web and on mobile devices like the iPhone and BlackBerry with the payment of a fee.

Rdio is believed to abandon the conventional formula and consequently let the users to share information about the music they are listening to, to disseminate tracks on Twitter or Facebook, or to see the songs in the top on the network.

Kazaa’s representatives said that a further deal might be concluded with Skype, although the way Rdio would be linked up with the VoIP service is not known from other sources than distribution deals.

There is a beta version of the necessary application already available in the App Store for the iPhone. Another one would be present on BlackBerry App World too. The price for basic web-only service will be $5 monthly, but the usage of either of the mobile platforms is established at $10.
