Acer has denied rumors about presenting Chrome OS devices at the Computex show next month. The company claimed there was no short-term plan for the launch of a netbook using the desktop operating system of Google. Although Acer acknowledged Chrome OS was a good product, but was not ready to assume any plans of using it.
Acer is considered to be one of the important supporters of the operating system, but Google only said finished hardware would be available in the second half of this year. Chrome OS has required a typical development process but also has some hardware requirements in order to run properly, one of them being the use of solid-state dives.
In the future, the operating system will be targeted at netbooks but will also power tablets and some desktops as well.
