A 3G-capable iPad to launch in the US on April 30th

Apple has announced a 3G-capable iPad would be available in the United States on the last day of this month. Early pre-orders will be delivered the next day. Apple Stores will only begin to sell the device at 5PM local time, while the Wi-Fi iPad was launched in the morning on April 3rd. prices for 3G models will go from $629 for 16GB, to $729 for 32GB and $829 for the 64GB one.

Users will pay AT&T $15 per month for 250MB of 3G data or $30 in case of unlimited bandwidth, in addition to the previous costs. There is a possibility of cancelling data plans at any time. The iPad 3G is slightly heavier than the Wi-Fi model, as it weighs 1.6 pounds instead of 1.5. Pre-orders made from Apple these days will be delivered after May 7th.
