Mitsubishi has renewed its TV line-up for 2010 with a number of 31 sets. The DLP devices are 3D-capable and most of them have now StreamTV, a component that provides news and media through the Internet. StreamTV brings basic Facebook access as well as Pandora streaming radio in addition to Internet-on-TV features like Vudu and Flickr.

The 638 series include sets with 3D and three HDMI ports with CEC and computer support. Prices range from $1,199 for the 60-inch model to $1,999 for the 73-inch one. The upgrade to the 738 series adds StreamTV and support for a USB-based 802.11n Wi-Fi adapter, a12-bit color processor, detailed color calibration and a 120Hz refresh rate. Prices for these mid-range series start at $1,399 for a 60-inch set up to $3,799 for an 82-inch DLP set. The top Diamond 838 line brings a new 16-speaker, virtual 5.1 surround system that is built into the body and ISFccc-level color adjustment. Prices for this top series start from $2,199 for a 60-inch set up to $4,499 for an 82-inch device.

The same StreamTV is present in the refreshed LED-backlit TVs that also include many of the DLP’s features as standard. All models for this year have multi-speaker surround, a 12-bit image processor at least and a minimum refresh rate of 120Hz. The basic model, the 154, starts the LCDs off centring on a 55-inch model that costs $2,499. The 164 line starts at a smaller size but includes built-in Wi-Fi and the full 16-speaker sound system, color calibration and Bluetooth audio. Prices range between $1,699 for a 40-inch model and the peak 55-inch screen at $2,699.

The Diamond 265 is the top-range and provides significantly better performance with a 240Hz refresh rate, 18-bit color processing with ISFccc tuning, an 18-speaker audio system and support for remote control through an iPhone application. There are two models available, the 46-inch set priced at $2,499 and the 55-inch device at $3,199.

Mitsubishi has not made available any shipping dates for the new TV sets at this moment.
