On March 5th, 2010, Amazon UK has set a release date for the UK, for the HTC phones launched in February, at the Mobile World Congress. Desire and Legend, which are both Android-based, are said to be available in the UK on April 1st, being priced at £529 ($795) and £400 ($601) (prices are available for the unlocked, carrier-free versions of the phones). HD Mini, which runs on Windows Mobile, will apparently be available later, on April 14th, under a £369 ($555) price tag.
The two new handsets will most likely be getting carrier deals; Legend will get one with Vodafone. At Vodafone, the unibody aluminum device will be priced at £2, if the user will opt for a £25 ($38) or highly monthly plan, which will include 300 minutes and unlimited SMS as well. The Legend will be available with the carrier in late-March.
