Logitech at the opening of CeBIT added a series of accessories to its line-up. The Harmony 650 and the monochrome Harmony 600 represent a new beginning for universal remotes. They do not have the touchscreen of the Harmony One, but have one-button presets for certain common tasks like playing music or watching movies, which reduce the associated steps to one action. The displays of the remotes provide a visual guide for picking favourite channels by selecting their logos or for using less automated functions.

Both remotes can be loaded with device profiles from a Windows PC or Mac and should support any IR-capable home theatre hardware that include game consoles while a compatible IR receiver is attached. The two remotes, Harmony 600 and Harmony 650, are shipped at prices of $80 and $100 respectively.

Computer owners will get the Laptop Speaker Z205 which is meant to provide better audio quality on the road or at presentations and can clip on the lid of MacBooks or most Windows notebooks. The device can provide stereo audio without occupying space on the sides of the computer. Power and sound come entirely through the USB port to keep the connection simple. A travelling case makes possible to stuff the Z205in a notebook bag. The Laptop Speaker Z205 will cost only $40 and will be ready for shipping this month.
