Accidentally, Dell has exposed, through the online catalog and some printed flyers, its plans regarding a new touchscreen notebook, called the Studio 15 Touch. Technical specifications are not fully known, but it seems that the standard system benefits from a 2.4GHz Intel Core i5 processor, as well as from Windows 7 Home Premium (preinstalled). The system will also have a 320GB HDD, being priced a $999.
Dell’s touchscreens are expected to allow users scroll, pan and also zoom in various applications, but also edit and sort pictures in TouchCam. You Paint drawings and sketches can be created as well.
In November, Dell has released a multi-touch capable Studio 17 Touch. The release date for Dell’s 15 Touch is yet unknown.
