Recently, Corsair has launched some new USB drives, with Flash Voyager GTR. The flash drive can be bought in capacities of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB.
The new device benefits from quad-channel architecture, which allows up to 34MBps reading speeds and 28MBps writing speeds (this is almost the maximum speed for the USB 2.0 interface). Corsair claims that during testing, the 128GB Voyager GTR outperformed by a significant margin a competitor’s USB drive having the same capacity.
The Voyager GTR has a durable rubber housing, which is also water-resistant. The exact release of the new drive is yet unknown, as well as the pricing.
