The rumoured Project Pink phones of Microsoft gain more support as a recently discovered FCC filing can be correlated with the design of the Pure phone. Following the confirmation of the Turtle, the second design of the Project Pink seems to have surfaced as the Sharp PB20ZU. It would have a touchscreen design and a conventional QWERTY keyboard and would carry a similar label design to that of the first model, the Turtle.

Not much information is available, but the Pure phone would probably run on CDMA networks and would very likely appear on Verizon or Sprint. Connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is also present on this model. Both the Pure and the Turtle are believed to be entry-level smartphones. They are both expected to use NVIDIA Tegra chips and run on the mysterious Premium Mobile Experience of Microsoft.

There is no information of the software, the scheduled release date, or the price, but they are believed to be co-branded as “Microsoft+Sharp”to avoid answering the controversy of Microsoft custom-designing hardware and opting for a favourite manufacturer.
