Three new models of ASUS’ Eee PC netbooks, with 10.1-inch displays, have recently been leaked. The flagship, which is the 1018P, is a designer model with a just 18mm (0.7 inches) thick aluminum body. This will be among the first netbooks to have USB 3.0 support; it should also offer a chiclet keyboard, a large touchpad, as well as a fingerprint reader, located on the right side. The 1018P is said to be offering about 10 hours of battery life.

The next model, the Eee PC 1016P, has not yet been spotted in any pics. The model is exclusively designed for business use, being more square-like. It will also benefit from a chiclet keyboard and battery autonomy of 14 hours. The body will also be aluminum-made.

The Eee PC 1015P is very similar to the EeePC 1005P. However, as a comparison, the new model offers a larger touchpad, which has been moved away from the keyboard. Unlike the 1005P, the chassis is made of aluminum and the battery life is about 14 hours.

Details on the processing hardware have not yet been announced, but the three new ASUS netbooks will most likely get a dual-core 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor. As the CeBIT show, which will take place in Germany, is close enough, more details about pricing and possible release dates could come out at the show.
