MSI has launched a series of new systems ahead of its appearance at CeBIT. The GT660 is a desktop replacement and is mainly focused on sound as MSI claims to have collaborated with specialists in sound system design to have the enclosure and speakers tuned in order to provide better audio than usual notebooks. The system is equipped with a quad Core i7 processor and a GeForce GTX 285M for graphics. It is one of the first notebooks of MSI sporting USB 3.0 ports.
The company has not revealed many other details for the system but it is known that it has three RAM slots and as much as 12GB of RAM. The price is also unknown but will probably be announced separately because each country receives a particular system. A launch in the United States is expected but is not yet confirmed.
Two high-end Wind Top all-in-ones have also been launched. The 22-inch AE2280 as well as the 24-inch AE2420 use Intel’s Core i3, i5 and i7 processors with multi-touch screens. Additional specifications have not been provided but would certainly appear at CeBIT. MSI also plans to present a Wind Top at the German show with a 3D display. The system is not detailed in depth but it will have a 120Hz display and active shutter glasses in order to generate the 3D effect.
