A roadmap for LG’s release schedule has recently leaked, causing the revealing of almost all of the company’s plans for 2010. This way, it has been confirmed that many of the TVs released at CES will start shipping in March or April. Moreover, a 3D variant for the LH9500 series, called the LX9500, will be available somewhere in mid-May. LX6500, which is known as a mid-range counterpart, could also be available at the same time.
In what companion devices are concerned, LG will also launch some to support the new TVs. These devices include a 3D-capable BD580 Blu-ray player, as well as the active shutter 3D glasses; they will all be available at the middle of April.
A webcam peripheral for the 720p Skype feature has also been confirmed for May, as well as a set of ultra-thin (0.27 inches) LED-backlit TVs. These, called the LEX8 and LEX9 series, will benefit from 480Hz panels. An extremely large model (72 inches) will also be available. The LED-backlit TVs will begin from 47 inches and will most likely arrive in the middle or at the end of June.
