Lenovo ThinkPad X100e specs shown on the company’s website

A spec sheet of Lenovo’s ThinkPad X100e has recently been showed on Lenovo’s website; it seems that the device will have a 10.1-inch display and will offer a dual-core 1.66GHz Intel Atom CPU. The previous 11.6-inch version, with a 1.6GHz AMD Athlon Neo chip will also be offered. The smaller netbook will benefit from a display resolution of 1280×720 pixels; the model will only have a 160GB, 5,400RPM HDD.

The spec sheet also offers information about the systems RAM and storage capacities. They will be available with 1GB, 2GB, 3GB or 4GB of RAM and will have optional 250GB or 320GB storage capacities, in addition to the 160GB HDD. The spec sheet mentions that some drives may not be available in various models, without giving any extra information. Systems will be based on a 3- or 6-cell battery and will offer optional wireless WAN cards.

The 11.6-inch X100e, with a 1.6GHz Athlon will be sold under a $449 price tag. The price for the smaller Intel-based version is still unknown. The ship dates of either model are also unknown, even if we’re talking about North America or Europe.
