Intel has recently announced that it will be joining Nokia’s press event on February 15, in order to provide news. Neither Nokia, nor Intel has revealed the subject of the unveiling, even if their previous partnership has lead to the creation of the Booklet 3G netbook. This netbook seems to have been intended to create a new device class by using new processors, as well as hardware designs.

After the Booklet came out, Intel has also released its Pine Trail platform for Atom chips. The company could be lending this new hardware to a second-run netbook. Pine Trail offers, mainly, longer battery life and, therefore, could provide the 12-hour Nokia portable with even more energy and longer runtime.
