Pre-orders for Creative’s World of Warcraft gaming headset

On February 11, 2010, Creative has announced that pre-orders for the Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset will be starting on February 12. As suggested, the new special edition headset is designed around the online RPG from Blizzard. This headset offers two interchangeable lenses, featuring either Horde or Alliance artwork and packing almost 16 million-color LEDs.
As a bonus, World of Warcraft voice presets are able to mask a user’s voice and the software interface is very similar to that of Blizzard’s game. The headset also has some traditional features, including the THX TruStudio PC audio technology, uncompressed wireless audio and a proprietary rechargeable battery.
Creative’s new headset is both PC and Mac compatible and it will be priced at $249. The company will be also offering a wired version of the headset, which will cost $189.
