Panasonic’s Lumix GF1 has recently been updated in Japan with two fresh, new colors; silver and light pink cameras will be sold alongside the original black ones. The new Micro Four Thirds camera has similar features to the model released last year, having a 12-megapixel sensor, a 3-inch LCD display and 720p video recording.
The newly colored versions of the camera will have the same price as the original black GF1, which means about $780. The new versions will be shipping in Japan somewhere in the middle of March. It is also possible that these will also be released in North America, after the Japanese launch.
