The upcoming Alienware M11x netbook is expected to sell at $799. Introduced this year at CES, Dell’s device integrates an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and graphics components that are similar to many 15-inch notebooks. The GeForce GT 335M switchable graphics unit supports 720-pixel playback on the 11.6-inch display of the netbook. The HDMI output will allow users to connect an external monitor to the device.
The maximum battery life is claimed to provide 6.5 hours of runtime, but using the GeForce GT 335M components could bring the battery life down to around two hours.
Dell is expected to announce a specific release date for the Alienware M11x netbook.
