The upcoming Galaxy 2 smartphone has recently appeared in a press image. Like the Nexus One and other high-end handsets, Samsung’s Galaxy 2 is expected to integrate a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 32GB of internal memory. A 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera and a set of usual smartphone specifications like GPS and Wi-Fi are also present. The press image shows the smartphone running Android 2.1.
There is no information about the price of the device or the release date. However, an announcement is expected to be made at Mobile World Congress in March.
