DACport USB headphone amplifier by CEntrance

CEntrance has presented a 24-bit digital-to-analogue converter, the DACport USB headphone amplifier, which combines an amplifier with its AdaptiWave USB technology and JutterGuard clock-management system. In order to connect headphones, a ¼-inch output is provided by the amplifier along with a 1/8-inch plugs adapter.

Users can connect the amplifier to a PC, Mac or Linux system, power being provided via USB. There are additional features that include analogue controls of the volume as well as plug-and-play functionality with most kinds of laptops or music servers.

Users can order DACport directly from the CEntrance website for a price of $500. The package includes the DACport, six-foot USB cable, a belt clip and velvet carrying pouch.
