A unique concept for notebook PCs is supposed to overhaul conventional expectations for this kind of devices. The ASUS NX90 will sport a revolutionary system consisting in two trackpads, one of them built into the palm rest and another one to the right of the keyboard. There is also a rather unusual integrated sound bar located behind the aluminium case, that makes the speaker area ten times larger than what is found in conventional devices.
Other hardware specifications are not determined, but ASUS has given some hints about being powered by a four-core Intel chip and also the existence of a Blu-ray drive. A 17-inch screen size is very likely to complete hardware characteristics. As for the intended price of the new ASUS notebook, the PC is supposed to be available for about $2,500.
