On December 23, 2009, Kyocera, the mobile phone manufacturer, gave two of its midrange devices, Laylo and Domino, to the provider MetroPCS, for special offers.
Laylo is a slider phone, which, when opened, offers a vanity mirror and has a soft-touch exterior. The phone benefits from a 2.2-inch screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera and offers Bluetooth 2.0 support. Users can surf the Internet through the WAP 2.0 browser; the phone is running on BREW 3.1.5. Domino offers almost the same features, but doesn’t have a camera or a vanity mirror. Both mobile devices are already available; the Layla is priced at $99 and the Domino, at $69. MetroPCS offers unlimited talk time and doesn’t ask its customers to sign any contract.
